A Legacy for the Future
The Carrie Steele - Pitts Home is Atlanta's historic home for children in need. For over a century, we have provided a nurturing environment for abused, abandoned and neglected children who are unable to stay with their parents. These children find a safe haven with us, at the Carrie Steele - Pitts Home. Our caring staff members provide 24 - hour supervision, support and love for up to 100 children in need.
As children face tougher and tougher challenges, we must do more to respond to their growing needs. We must help children to strengthen their minds, bodies and spirits, so that they have the confidence and abilities to achieve their goals. We must invest in their futures.
 |
To ensure that our children have the tools that they need to succeed, we have built a Life Learning Center at the Carrie Steele - Pitts Home. This multipurpose facility has added a whole new dimension to the CSPH campus - by creating a space where children will participate in academic enrichment, athletic activities and spiritual growth. |
The Life Learning Center is a place where children will discover their talents and pursue their dreams. We have built much more than a new facility at the Carrie Steele - Pitts Home. We have built a legacy for the future..

"If Carrie Steele - Pitts Home did not exist, it would be necessary to invent it, because our city must have a place for children in need."
